Production of plastic bags

We produce many types of bags using our present machinery. Our long experience in providing packing services has been implemented also into the bag production process. Our first step is to set an objective of packing and next to select a suitable type of film, its thickness, dimensions, and additional parameters.

The minimum production for tailor-made packages without printing is only 1,000 pieces. Owing to this, you can pack even short series into custom-made packaging. The present flexible adaptation of production capacities allows us to produce bags from 27 mm to 1,000 mm wide, and from 30 mm to 720 mm high. The width is the size of a bag where it is open. The production process is subject to continuous monitoring and recording in line with GMP procedures.

The vast majority of our production are bags made of polypropylene films. We use high quality films that comply with the requirements for products designated for food contact according to regulations applicable in Poland and EU directives. We use film from 15 to 100 micron thick.

OPP and CPP bags (CAST)

Polypropylene film is among the most important packaging materials of very broad use. Due to their production technology, two types of film are distinguished: OPP and CAST.

The basic advantages of OPP film include: high transparency, gloss, rigidity, and regular structure. Therefore, this film is used to produce packaging aimed at improving the visual attractiveness of goods: advertising, stationery, food products, fresh vegetables, and textiles.

Compared to OPP, CAST film is characterised by a higher degree of plasticity, softness, and higher tearing strength and break-down strength. The high mechanical resistance enables to produce high quality of micro- and macro-perforations. Bags made of CAST feature very high resistance of joints; therefore, they may be used to pack irregular, large sized, or heavy products.

Available types of bags made of OPP and CPP films:

LDPE plastic bags

Bags made of LDPE film are mechanically similar to those made of CAST film; however, their transparency is lower. Due to their lower resistance parameters, in order to obtain the same effects as CPP film, packaging made of CAST has to be thicker. They are usually used as transport or warehouse packaging, because they do not improve the visual characteristics of a product.

Polyolefin is high quality layered heat shrinkable film that is characterised by high transparency, gloss, and very good shrinking properties.

FINO polyolefin bags:

Do not collect dirt on wires or knives during joining,
Prevent burning in tunnels
Improve the resistance of film on finished packaging
Give many application options, which makes them ideal both for older and modern equipment

They provide constant joining and shrinking in a broad range of temperatures. They feature strong and attractive joints, which improves the visual characteristics of product packaging. They are designed for contact with food products. Printing is available with polyolefin bags as well, thus improving marketing opportunities. The complete recycling technology – non-crossing.

Film can be used for packing regular and irregular shapes, especially products of sharp edges. Before the launch on the market, every batch of film is subject to laboratory tests, which verify its mechanical, optical, and thermal properties.

Every type of bag may come with printing on Client’s request. A whole pellet of colours is available with short lead times.

Production of biofilm bags (compostable) – NEW!

Our bags are eco-friendly and in 100% compostable. We produce them of biodegradable film – PLA sustainable biosourced homopolymer made from corn starch.

Compostable film is ecological and environmentally friendly because after its decomposition, there is no microplastics – only organic substances that can be used as a natural fertilizer for the soil. The biodegradation process needs 3 factors : naturally occurring bacterial , temperature above 60⁰C , humidity (RH) above85% – to break down this film into CO₂ , H₂O and biomass. In this conditions PLA film is decomposed within 7-12 weeks ( depends on the film thickness) , in line with DIN EN 13432 certificate.

Our Biofilm bags has been accredited to ‘OK biobased’ and DIN EN 13432 certificate.

The PLA bags characterizes high gloss, transparency and rigidness , so they highlights the look of the packed items. We produce them on individual orders , regarding the needed measures.
